Academic Safe has designed and implemented a number of
direct sale / rental programs for colleges and universities to consider,
depending upon a particular institution's specific needs and
requirements. These options are:
Where the institution has made decision to provide
an in-room safe solution as an amenity to their student. Purchase can
be financed over 3 to 10 year period, greatly reducing impact on
yearly budget concern. Safe prices range from $100 to $200 range
depending on safe model.
2) Installation of Mounting Brackets / Plates
Where institution sees benefit of offering safe
option to their students. Students rent safes from ASC or from school,
and safes are secured to plate for academic year. Mounting plates sell
in the $10 - $15 range.
3) Direct Sale of Academic Safes To Students
Program instituted with the school where "mailers"
sent to incoming students informing students of opportunity to
purchase a safe for school use. Safes are shipped with cable / tether
assembly. Commission paid by ASC to school (or student group) on all
safes sold.
Program instituted with school where safes are
offered to students on a "rental" basis (much like lofts or microwaves
/ refrigerators). Safes typically rented to students at $75 to $95 per
year rate. Program can be either run directly by school (or student
group) ... or Academic Safe Co. can manage program and commission
school at a 5% to 10% level.
